PERTAMBAHAN BOBOT BADAN HARIAN DAN BOBOT BADAN AKHIR KAMBING JAWARANDU JANTAN MUDA BERBASIS PEMBERIAN Curcumae xanthorrhizae Rhizoma SECARA ORAL

Abstract


Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mempelajari pengaruh pemberian secara oral Curcumae xanthorrhizae Rhizoma terhadap pertambahan bobot badan harian dan bobot badan akhir kambing Jawarandu jantan muda. Materi penelitian yang digunakan adalah 18 ekor kambing Jawarandu jantan muda dengan bobot badan antara 14.83-18.83 kg dan rataan umur satu tahun dibagi menjadi 3 kelompok, masing-masing kelompok 6 ekor. Semua ternak ditempatkan secara individual pada kandang tipe panggung. Kelompok ternak yang pertama diberi pakan basal yang berupa daun Odot (kontrol), sedangkan kelompok ternak yang kedua dan ketiga diberi pakan basal kemudian masing- masing ternak diberi secara oral 1 dan 2 tablet Curcuma ® CFT per ekor per hari. Setiap 1 tablet Curcuma ® CFT mengandung 20 mg Curcumae xanthorrhizae Rhizoma. Perlakuan masing-masing diulang 6 kali. Air minum tersedia di dalam kandang. Peubah yang diukur meliputi pertambahan bobot badan harian (PBBH) dan bobot badan akhir kambing Jawarandu jantan muda. General Linear Model of SPSS dari SPSS digunakan untuk menganalisis peubah yang diukur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian Curcumae xanthorrhizae Rhizoma secara oral dibandingkan dengan kelompok ternak kontrol meningkatkan secara nyata (P<0,05) terhadap PBBH dan bobot badan akhir kambing Jawarandu jantan muda. Kesimpulan penelitian menunjukkan pemberian Curcumae xanthorrhize Rhizoma secara oral meningkatkan pertambahan bobot badan harian dan bobot badan akhir kambing Jawarandu jantan muda.

The purpose of this study was to study the effect of oral administration of Curcumae xanthorrhizae Rhizoma on daily body weight gain and final body weight of Jawarandu buck kids. The research material used was 18 heads of Jawarandu buck kids with body weights between 14.83-18.83 kg and the average age of one year was divided into 3 groups, each group of 6 heads. All livestock are placed individually in a stage type cage. The first herd was given basal feed in the form of Odot leaves (control), while the second and third herd was given basal feed then each animal was given orally 1 and 2 Curcuma ® CFT tablets per head per day. Every 1 tablet of Curcuma ® CFT contains 20 mg of Curcumae xanthorrhizae Rhizoma. Each treatment was repeated 6 times. Drinking water is available in the cage. Variables measured included daily body weight gain (PBBH) and final body weight of Jawarandu buck kids. The General Linear Model of SPSS from SPSS is used to analyze the measured variables. The results showed that oral administration of Curcumae xanthorrhizae Rhizoma compared with control animal group significantly increased (P <0.05) to daily body weight gain and final body weight of Jawarandu buck kids. The conclusion of the study showed that oral administration of Curcumae xanthorrhize Rhizoma increased daily body weight gain and final body weight of Jawarandu buck kids.
