MENINGKATKAN KUALITAS RESPONSE TERHADAP TEKS SASTRA MELALUI CRITICAL DISCOURSE ANALYSIS

Abstract


Penelitian ini merupakan bagian dari rangkaian penelitian yang dilaksanakan oleh peneliti yang memiliki tujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di tingkat universitas, khususnya yang berkaitan dengan peningkatan kemampuan dosen dalam melaksanakan proses belajar mengajar, dalam hal ini memperkaya metode membaca pada pembelajaran pada matakuliah Introduction to Literature di Program Studi S1 Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris, Fakultas Ilmu Budaya UNSOED. Proses belajar mengajar Introduction to Literature menggunakan menggunakan Critical Discourse Analysis sebagai salah cara untuk meresponse teks yang brupa karya sastra. Untuk mencapai tujuan penelitian ini, metode penelitian yang dipakai.adalah metode kualitatif dengan case study sebagai desainnya. Pengambilan data dilaksanakan melalaui wawancara, dan studi dokumen sehingga diharapkan data yang diperoleh dari metode tersebut dapat menjadi data yang saling menguatkan. Selanjutnya, 32 mahasiswa yang mengikuti matakuliah Introduction to Literature di Program Studi S1 Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris UNSOED telah menjadi subyek penelitian sebagai responden dalam penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan selama 8 bulan.
