EDUKASI PEMERIKSAAN GINEKOLOGI BAGI CERDAS BERKESEHATAN REPRODUKSI DI DESA NGAWEN, KLATEN

Abstract

Background: Gynecological examination is a standard examination carried out in the Obstetrics and Gynecology (Obstetrics and Gynecology) sections. But sometimes this inspection can cause things that are frightening to some mothers. Even though gynecological examination can reveal the reproductive health of women in the vagina and cervix. Klaten, one of the districts in Central Java with quite a lot of positive IVA cases was found. Gynecological examination will be carried out during the IVA test. Objective: to increase the knowledge of the people of Ngawen Village about what and how to examine gynecology, and what reproductive health can be seen by gynecological examination. Methods: lectures, discussions and questions and answers, filling out questionnaires, and gynecological examinations on the service participants. Gynecological examination was followed by 30 participants. Results and implications: 100% (30/30) of the service participants felt fear when a gynecology survey was conducted. However, 100% (30/30) of the participants finally expressed satisfaction with having attended a gynecological examination. Because this examination was simple, easy, fast, the results could be immediately conveyed, and provided sufficient information about the reproductive health of women in the vaginal and cervical area. The gynecological examination results obtained were: 80% vaginal discharge (24/30) of all participants, 33.3% erosion (10/30), and 100% IUD thread (5/5). Conclusion: Gynecological examination is a simple examination, not frightening, painless, quickly done, giving important results about reproductive health information of women in the vagina and cervix.
